Linking vocational and technical training of national projects in Cairo Governorate Protocol and Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the signing of the protocol of cooperation between Cairo and Ain Shams University. Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid and Assistant Secretary General of the Cairo Governorate, Mr. Mustafa Abdel Aziz Al-Zayyat, signed a protocol of cooperation in the field of training and qualification for the labor market within the framework of the Presidential initiative "Sanayet Masr".

This came in the presence of Mr. Samir Abdul Nasser, Secretary General of the University, Under-Secretary of the Ministry and Mrs. Hala Khalaf, Director of the University Services Marketing Center, Ain Shams University, Protocol Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen Director of the Media Center, Dr. Rania Abdel Salam, Director of the Employment of Young Graduates, Director of Human Resources Development Department, Cairo Governorate, Mohammed Salah Director of the Department of Community Participation Directorate of Education and Mr. Mohamed Abdul Tawab Director General of General Education Directorate of Education in Cairo and Mr. Tamer Suleiman General Director of the Directorate of Education.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat confirmed that the aim of the protocol should not be limited to training and rehabilitation for university youth, but must be followed by agreements to ensure the presence of young people trained in the labor market and open the prospects for marketing products and benefit from what he learned in a practical and realistic way.

Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid added that the University is keen to extend bridges of cooperation with various institutions of society through multi-community partnerships in favor of youth and society. He pointed to the positive impact that is reflected on the society behind the cooperation of decision-makers in each area, pointing out that the protocol aims at rehabilitating young people University graduates, technical diploma holders, amateurs and graduates who wish to change their careers.

Mr. Mustafa Al-Zayat explained that the elimination of unemployment and the transformation of Egyptian youth into productive and involved in achieving the objectives of sustainable development is the most important objectives of this protocol. He stressed the full support of the state in all its institutions to achieve this, in order to ensure the transition from capital development to development based on work force.

Prof. Dr. Hala Khalaf confirmed that the protocol seeks to provide young people with technical and professional skills to combine them and between the university certificate or the academic qualification to achieve a set of objectives to develop the system of training and technical qualification on the basis of international quality and linking vocational and technical training to national projects and the investment map of the country geographically and opens opportunities Work for young people without having to wait for a job through small and micro enterprises.

Mr. Samir Abdul Nasser reviewed the areas that will be covered by the training, including "fashion design and furnishings, nurseries and flowers, the design of leather products, the basics of IT, graphic design and advertising," stressing that the training is held in the workshops of the province in the regions of peace and Nozha and Opera and Mansheyat Nasser.

Mr. Mohamed Abdul Tawab noted that the advancement of technical education has become a national goal in light of the Declaration of 2019 years of education.

At the end of the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat gave the shield of the university to Mr. Mustafa El Zayat Assistant Secretary General of Cairo Governorate.
