The selection of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini as a member of the Supreme Advisory Board at the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Economic Unity

The General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Economic Unity announced the selection of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, is a member of the Supreme Advisory Board of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Economic Unity.

It is worth noting that Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, Professor of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, has held the position of Dean of the Faculty, and contributed to the development of Ain Shams University hospitals. He is also one of the most prominent pioneers of liver transplantation in Egypt and the Middle East, and the founder of the organ transplant unit at Ain Shams University Hospitals.

He and his team performed 1,500 liver transplant surgeries at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, Nile Valley and EgyptAir hospitals.
