New appointments at the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University

In preparation for the start of studies at the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University at the beginning of the new academic year, Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, issued a decision that Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, will supervise both the Department of Greek and Roman Archeology and the Department of Archeology and Excavations, starting from 1/6/2021 until the date of his legal age

He also issued a decision that Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Ali Sayed Ahmed, a full-time professor at the Department of Tourist Guidance at the Faculty of Arts, will supervise the Department of Museums and Archaeological Sites Management at the Faculty of Archeology as of 1/6/2021 for a year.

And the appointment of Prof. Dr. Hossam Owais Abdel Fattah Mohamed Tantawy, Professor of Islamic Archeology, Faculty of Arts, as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archeology of Education and Student Affairs, starting from 1/6/2021 for a period of three years.

Also, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini issued a decision to appoint Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed Mohamed Ali El-Shouki, the assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Archeology at the Faculty of Arts, to act as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archeology for Graduate Studies and Research, starting from 1/6/2021 for a year.

And Dr. Nader Mahmoud Abdel-Dayem, the assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Archeology, carried out the work of the Chairman of the Council of the Department of Islamic Archeology at the Faculty of Archeology, starting from 1/6/2021 for a year.

And Mr. Hossam Hosni Zaki Ali will manage the work of the Secretary of the Faculty of Archeology as of 1/6/2021
