The mid-term exams for the second semester of Ain Shams Engineering, which will run from May 5 to May 11, 2021, were launched amid strict precautionary measures, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shawqy El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering stressed the need to adhere to all precautionary measures that have been put in place to preserve the safety of students, especially social distancing, noting that the maximum degree of readiness and readiness has been raised in all university faculties to start the mid-term exams, which began on May 5 and ends today. He added that the presence of medical teams, under the support of the university’s hospitals, has been intensified to face any situation that requires intervention during the exams, and stressed the provision of the faculties for the tools and disinfectants they need, as well as the provision of medical supplies to ensure the safety of students, observers and faculty members and the continuation of the examination work without any obstacles, praising With the efforts of Ain Shams University Hospitals and the General Administration of Medical Affairs in this regard.

For his part, Prof. Mustafa Refaat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, said that the college made all preparations for exams, including preparing halls, providing all means of ventilation, and providing a medical team in anticipation of emergency situations, indicating that the examination committees building is monitored by cameras through a central room that monitors all committees for continuous follow-up.

He pointed out that the examinations were divided into 6 periods, starting from nine in the morning and ending at five, and between each committee and the other, the committees were completely sterilized.

This came through an integrated system to reduce the incidence of infection and preserve the safety of everyone.
