University President honors Dr. Salsabil Al-Rajaili for winning the second place in the award for the best doctoral thesis from the Association of Arab Universities

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, honored Dr. Salsabil Al- Rajaili, teacher at the Faculty of Computer science and Information, Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Najwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty.

The honor comes for winning second place in the award for the best doctoral thesis in the field of basic sciences, specializing in artificial intelligence for the year 2020 from the Association of Arab Universities for her doctoral thesis entitled" Detect Lung Cancer In Scans Using Deep Learning" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Rushdi, Dr. Mohamed Abdul Majeed and Dr. Mohamed Hassan.

It is worth noting that a ceremony was organized under the supervision of Secretary General Amr Ezzat Salama to honor the winners during the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities in the 53rd session, which was hosted by Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 7 to 8 April 2021 through the application of "Zoom”.
