Ain Shams University won first place in literacy

Ain Shams University headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, lists the Egyptian universities in the field of integrating their students in the literacy project according to the results of the October 2020 session, as the university has alone achieved nearly a third of the achievement of Egyptian universities in the field of illiteracy eradication by 30.8% according to the outcome of the October 2020 session.

This achievement is the culmination of the efforts made by the university administration through the university’s adult education center in terms of training students and qualifying them to work in the field of literacy, as well as constructive cooperation and effective partnership with the Public Authority for Adult Education headed by Dr. Ashour Omari, in addition to the coordinating role that the Adult Education Center plays with the literacy units in the participating colleges.

It is worth noting that Ain Shams University students alone eradicated (7,644) literacy students out of a total number (24,760) students, which represents the total achievement of universities in the October 2020 session.
