She pointed out that at the beginning of the pandemic spread, we faced many obstacles that centered around the lack of computers and the inability to use the Internet for all students, but with the passage of a few weeks we were able to overcome all the obstacles and overcome them with radical solutions, and we were able to upload the courses electronically through the Faculty platform, as well. Raise the assignments required of students and correct them electronically for the years of transfer, which were the final exams for the transport teams, and the committees were also secured to conduct their examinations for the fourth year on the ground, taking into account all the procedures and preventive measures to protect students.

She went on to say that during the summer vacation period, we finished training the faculty members and the assisting body to use the online platform, to pave the way for us during the current academic year to use the hybrid education mechanism approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, where the faculty members were trained to produce electronic courses and develop Question banks; The percentage of distance education reaches 50% and face to face 50% during the current academic semester.

She explained that our infrastructure was indeed able to keep pace with developments in the current situation to confront the dangers of the emerging corona virus and work to transform the ordeal into auxiliary factors for the development of the educational process at the level of Egyptian universities.

She emphasized that the Japanese language department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun University of Ain Shams enjoys a prestigious global reputation, and the department's graduates have excellent job opportunities, in addition to their pioneering role in exchanging political, cultural and social relations between the two friendly countries, and requested the ambassador to increase the number of scholarships offered by the Japanese side to students and members The Egyptian faculty and staff, and stressed the necessity of increasing the number of volunteer teachers and academic professors in the department from the Japanese side, as well as developing the department's teaching halls and providing them with some modern equipment. To upgrade the department, which represents a crossroads of cultures between the walls of Al-Alsun Faculty at Ain Shams University, one of the largest forts teaching languages ​​in the Middle East and the world.

In conclusion, I accompanied Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, His Excellency the Ambassador of the friendly Japanese State and the accompanying delegation to his Excellency on an inspection tour of the audio laboratories in the Faculty and the teaching halls of the department.
