This initiative stems from the Faculty of Agriculture’s commitment to its community service role and its efforts to utilize its production capabilities to serve the university community. It also seeks to maximize the benefits of the faculty’s resources in meeting some of the needs of university staff and members, thereby promoting social solidarity and strengthening ties among members of the university community.

The faculty’s poultry farms serve as a practical model integrating production, scientific research, and hands-on training. They contribute to enhancing the educational process and equipping students with practical experience in poultry production, alongside their productive and community-oriented role in providing products that help meet the needs of the university community.

In this context, the Faculty of Agriculture enables Ain Shams University staff and members to purchase poultry farm products through designated sales outlets within the faculty and at several other university faculties, facilitating access to these products at discounted prices.

These efforts reflect the commitment of Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Agriculture to strengthening their community service role and leveraging available resources to provide direct services to university staff and members, supporting their well-being and fostering a stronger sense of belonging to the university community.
