In a further step toward strengthening Ain Shams University’s role in preparing its graduates for the labor market and opening up promising career opportunities, the Ain Shams University Career Center (ASU Career Center), headed by Prof. Ola Samy, Director of the Center, will launch the fifth edition of “ASU Career Week 2026” on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The event, held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Neven Assem, Executive Director of the University’s Innovation and Training Sector, will run until October 29 at the Career Center’s headquarters in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (iHub) building at the University Dormitories.

This year’s edition introduces an enhanced recruitment approach through the implementation of the “Open Recruitment Days” system, allowing job-ready university graduates to attend immediate, face-to-face interviews with recruiters from participating companies. The initiative aims to strengthen direct communication between young talents and employers while accelerating graduates’ transition from academic education to professional careers.

More than 15 leading local and international companies representing a wide range of industries and professional fields will participate in the event. This will provide graduates with multiple opportunities to apply for positions suited to their qualifications and skills and attend several job interviews in a single day, rather than simply submitting their CVs and waiting for responses.

Different companies and job opportunities will be featured each day throughout the week, broadening the event’s reach and improving the alignment between graduates’ qualifications and available job requirements.

To ensure participants gain maximum benefit from the event, the Career Center has prepared a comprehensive event guide featuring the schedule of activities, targeted faculties and academic disciplines, participating companies, and available vacancies, along with practical guidance on preparing for job interviews and creating professional CVs.

The event is exclusively open to Ain Shams University graduates who are ready to enter the labor market, with participation entirely free of charge. It offers them opportunities to communicate directly with recruitment representatives and apply for available positions, supporting their career development and enhancing their prospects of securing employment that matches their qualifications and aspirations.

The event will take place at the Career Center’s headquarters in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (iHub) building at the University Dormitories.
