In a new achievement for Ain Shams University’s record of academic excellence, the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences has earned programmatic accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) for three of its academic programs: Computer Science, Computer Systems, and Software Engineering.

The accreditation confirms the faculty’s commitment to applying quality and accreditation standards and continuously developing its academic programs and improving the quality of education. These efforts help enhance learning outcomes and prepare graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to meet labor market demands and keep pace with rapid developments in computing and information technology.

The accreditation of the three programs reflects the faculty’s efforts to develop its educational system in line with academic quality standards and to create a learning environment that supports innovation and excellence. This aligns with Ain Shams University’s commitment to improving education quality and strengthening its competitiveness locally and internationally.

The achievement was made under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences.

The accreditation of the three programs is the result of a collective effort involving faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students. Their cooperation and institutional teamwork, together with a sustained commitment to development and academic quality standards, have added a new milestone to the faculty’s efforts to establish a culture of quality and excellence and enhance educational outcomes.
