Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and as part of the University’s commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and bridging academic study with practical application, and under the supervision of Professor Yomna Safwat, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the State Information Service, attended the closing ceremony of the field training program for students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, held at the State Information Service.

The training program was organized as part of the Faculty of Al-Alsun’s commitment to providing its students with high-quality training opportunities that contribute to developing their practical skills, broadening their professional perspectives, and familiarizing them with the nature of work within state institutions. This complements the academic knowledge they acquire at the Faculty and enhances their readiness to meet the requirements of the labor market.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Yomna Safwat, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun; Prof. Rehab Abdel Salam, Head of the Spanish Department; coordinators of the various departments responsible for field training at the Faculty; as well as a number of officials from the State Information Service and the General Administration of Training, faculty members, and students participating in the program.

In his address, Ambassador Alaa Youssef expressed his pleasure at meeting the students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, emphasizing the State Information Service’s commitment to supporting and qualifying students and providing them with practical training opportunities that contribute to developing their skills and bridging academic study with practical realities and labor market requirements.

He highlighted the importance of equipping young people, particularly students specializing in languages, media, and communication, with the skills and experience needed to keep pace with rapid developments in translation, media, and international communication. He also stressed the importance of gaining first-hand knowledge of the nature of work within state institutions, affirming that young people represent a fundamental pillar in building Egypt’s future and strengthening its ability to communicate with the world.

The Chairman of the State Information Service affirmed that the Service attaches great importance to cooperation with Egyptian universities, considering it one of the key avenues for investing in young talents and preparing new generations capable of assuming their professional and national responsibilities. He noted that practical training serves as an important link between academic knowledge and its real-world application.

For her part, Professor Yomna Safwat, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, expressed her appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the State Information Service. She praised the practical experience and diverse knowledge the training program provided to students, as well as the opportunity it offered them to gain insight into the nature of work within the Service and its role in translation, communication, and promoting awareness of Egypt both domestically and internationally.

The Dean emphasized the importance of continuing and developing cooperation between the Faculty of Al-Alsun and the State Information Service in order to expand practical training opportunities for students, provide additional opportunities to help them acquire professional experience and skills, and prepare graduates with the qualifications needed to compete in the labor market both locally and internationally.

The participation of department heads and field training coordinators also reflected the Faculty of Al-Alsun’s commitment to directly monitoring training programs and ensuring that they achieve their academic and professional objectives, thereby maximizing the benefits for participating students.

The meeting also featured an open dialogue between Ambassador Alaa Youssef and the Faculty of Al-Alsun students, addressing a number of topics related to the training program and the importance of developing their language, media, and communication skills. The discussion also highlighted the value of practical training opportunities in building their professional experience and preparing them for their future careers.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Ambassador Alaa Youssef and Professor Yomna Safwat presented certificates of completion of the training program to the participating students in recognition of their efforts and active participation in the program’s activities, wishing them continued success in their academic and professional careers.
