In the first collaboration between Ain Shams University and the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, a training program was held on "The Pillars and Determinants of Egyptian National Security in Light of Contemporary Changes"

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and within the framework of the Innovation and Training Sector’s keenness at the University to support and develop the leadership and administrative capabilities of faculty staff and teaching assistants, and to enhance awareness of strategic issues in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030, the Innovation and Training Sector, under the supervision of Prof. Nevin Assem, CEO of the Sector, organized the distinguished training program entitled: “Pillars and Determinants of Egyptian National Security in Light of Contemporary Changes,” at the headquarters of the Innovation and Training Sector at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, and organized by the Training and Development Center.

         
   
         

The program is considered one of the distinguished training programs aimed at enhancing awareness of issues related to Egyptian national security, identifying the most prominent contemporary changes and challenges and their implications for national security, thus contributing to the development of participants' cognitive and leadership capabilities.

The program featured a series of specialized lectures delivered by a select group of experts, trainers, and advisors from the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, including: Major General Dr. Samir Abdel Ghani, lecturer at the National Defense College; Major General Staff Officer. Ayman Saudi, advisor to the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies; and Brigadier General Dr. Haitham Al-Tawajni, advisor to the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies.

         
   
         

The lectures addressed a number of topics and issues related to the determinants of Egyptian national security, in light of regional and international changes and contemporary challenges. This provided participants with a more comprehensive understanding of strategic issues and their various dimensions.

The program witnessed positive interaction and active participation from the participating faculty staff and teaching assistants, who praised its scientific and training content and the specialized knowledge and insights it offered, which contribute to enhancing awareness of strategic issues and Egyptian national security.

The organization of this program comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's commitment to developing its training and capacity-building system and offering high-quality programs that keep pace with contemporary changes and support the development of academic and administrative personnel capable of contributing effectively to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030.
