Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business, the Faculty welcomed more than 3,000 high school graduates and holders of equivalent Arab and foreign certificates during its Open Day. The exceptional turnout reflected the strong level of community confidence in this long-established institution, which continues to contribute to preparing and qualifying financial and administrative professionals.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy outlined the features of a new era for the faculty through the launch of its latest academic bylaws.

He announced the introduction of 10 new and innovative academic programs offered in three languages, Arabic, English, and French. He also highlighted the possibility for students to graduate in three years based on outstanding academic performance throughout their studies, giving them a significant advantage in entering the labor market ahead of their peers. He further explained the mechanisms for admission and direct transfer with maximum flexibility.

Regarding the academic structure, he explained that the faculty has fully adopted the Credit Hour System under the new bylaws, providing students with greater flexibility in selecting and organizing their courses. The system also ensures that graduates are equipped with exceptional opportunities through technical and practical skills aligned with labor market requirements.

The new programs include specializations that keep pace with the technological revolution, most notably Digital Accounting and Auditing, Digital Finance and Investment, Digital Marketing, Human Resources and Talent Development, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Financial and Digital Economics, Business Information Systems, and Digital Commerce and Artificial Intelligence.

With complete transparency, the Dean presented the financial structure of the Credit Hour System programs, which has been designed to provide flexible payment options, including payment in two installments for the special programs.

In a strategic step reflecting the administration’s commitment to equal opportunities and the provision of high-quality education, the faculty has allowed all students enrolled in the Arabic-language section to join the advanced Credit Hour System and benefit from its academic flexibility at the same government tuition rate applicable to them. This ensures that all Faculty students have access to the latest global educational systems without any additional financial burden.

He also confirmed that scholarships and financial facilities would be provided in recognition of outstanding students, along with the assignment of academic advisors to guide students step by step and support their academic excellence.

Recognizing that practical training has become an essential requirement for graduation, the faculty has established strategic partnerships with major organizations and institutions to provide students with real-world training opportunities, supported by a Career Center that connects graduates with the labor market.

He further emphasized that the faculty places significant importance on student activities, believing in their role in building strong résumés and developing well-rounded personalities.

At the conclusion of the event, students and their parents were taken on guided tours of the lecture halls and advanced laboratories across the university campus. Attendees also visited the outdoor sports facilities, where they participated in recreational activities and a variety of games.
