The President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, affirmed that digital transformation is no longer a luxury and that the university is working to digitize its various operational systems and services.

He explained that the university has upgraded its digital infrastructure and established an advanced Network and Information Center to support digital transformation.

Digitalization has extended to educational services and scientific research, as well as course registration, fee payment, and the administration of examinations electronically.

The university has also begun implementing a paperless work system and automating warehouses, university dormitories, and hospitals to enhance governance and rationalize spending.

The University President emphasized that this integrated system has contributed to achieving cost savings by strengthening oversight of resources and directing expenditures toward actual needs.
