ASU Career Center Launches Summer Training Programs to Build Students' Capacities and Prepare Them for the Labor Market
Within the framework of Ain Shams University’s vision to raise the efficiency of its students and qualify them for the requirements of the local and international labor market, the ASU Center is launching the largest plan for summer training programs and activities for 2026 to support the skills and capabilities of more than 3,000 students from various faculties of the university, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.
The plan aims to bridge the gap between academic life and the professional world by equipping students with practical, linguistic, and technical skills. This is achieved through the participation of experts and specialists from the labor market, and in collaboration with leading entities and institutions from the private sector.
This year's summer training program includes nine diverse programs from which students can benefit, covering the following areas:
*Comprehensive Career Development: Through the "Be Ready" and "Ready to Work" programs to enhance personal and professional skills.
*Business English Development: Through the "Business English Conversation" program in collaboration with the Faculty of AL-Alsun.
*Career Guidance and Self-Discovery: Through "Career Coaching Program" sessions to support career planning.
*Direct Exposure to the Labor Market: Through "Learning by Doing" activities, field visits to companies, open recruitment days, and other events.
*Technical and Financial Empowerment: Launching the "Digital & AI Literacy" program to promote digital literacy in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and the "Financial Literacy" program to spread financial awareness in collaboration with the Faculty of Business.
*Leadership development and capacity building: through the Next-Gen Trainers initiative and the Professional Volunteering Program.
