Ain Shams University's Critical Care Medical Team Wins Second Place Globally in Pediatric Simulation World Cup in Morocco
The critical care medical team at Ain Shams University Hospitals achieved a new international milestone, securing second place in the second edition of the Pediatric Simulation World Cup, hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco. The competition featured elite medical teams from around the world.

This achievement was made possible under the patronage of Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and under the supervision of Prof. Ehab Khairy, Head of the Pediatrics Department, along with Prof. Safaa Shafik, Head of the Neonatal Unit, Prof. Soha Khafagy, Professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology, Prof. Mervat Gamal, Head of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Prof. Yasmine Gamal, Director of the Children's Hospital.

The medical team, comprised of leading assistant professors from the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, delivered outstanding scientific and practical performances during the competition. They utilized the highest standards of medical simulation in managing critical pediatric cases, reflecting the advanced level of expertise attained by the medical staff at Ain Shams University Hospitals.
