In a scene that reflected genuine national pride and unwavering loyalty, students filled the stadium with chants in support of Egypt, undeterred by the team's exit, creating an atmosphere of unity, belonging, and heartfelt encouragement.

The event followed the live screening of Egypt's Round of 16 match against Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, held as part of the recreational day organized by the Students for Egypt family, which attracted broad participation from both Egyptian and international students.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Dr. Samar Ragab, General Advisor to the Students for Egypt family.

The recreational day was attended by Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, who joined students in sharing the excitement and enthusiasm of the occasion. Also in attendance was Prof. Farid Moharam, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, alongside a large gathering of Egyptian and international students.

Before the match, participants enjoyed a variety of recreational and interactive activities, including sports competitions, cultural contests, and entertainment games.
