Honoring the Faculty of Computer and Information at the Huawei Egypt Partner Summit 2026

In a new achievement added to the distinguished record of success of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University, the Huawei Academy at the faculty was honored during the Huawei Egypt Partner Summit 2026, held at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel in Cairo, in the presence of an elite group of Huawei leaders, strategic partners, and representatives of academic and educational institutions.

This recognition came as an appreciation of the outstanding performance achieved by the faculty as one of the most active and distinguished Huawei Academies among Egyptian universities, and for its tangible successes in implementing Huawei academic programs, disseminating modern technological knowledge, and preparing students to acquire advanced skills in the fields of information technology, communications, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.

Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University, received the award in recognition of the faculty’s continuous efforts in supporting the strategic partnership with Huawei, and its commitment to providing an advanced educational and training environment that contributes to preparing qualified graduates capable of competing in the local, regional, and international job markets.

The Huawei Academy at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences plays a pivotal role in supporting the educational process and developing the skills of students and faculty members through organizing numerous specialized training courses and workshops, offering certified Huawei professional certification programs, in addition to holding technical seminars and awareness events that enhance students’ readiness for the labor market and enable them to keep up with the latest global technological developments.

The academy also encourages students to participate in local, regional, and international competitions, most notably the Huawei ICT Competition, in which the faculty’s students have achieved remarkable accomplishments at various levels, reaching global competition and securing advanced positions that reflect the high academic and practical excellence of the faculty’s students.

This success is the result of the continuous efforts exerted by the academy under the leadership of Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Dr. Mona Abdel Azim, Director of the Huawei Academy at the faculty, who played a prominent role in developing the academy’s activities, strengthening cooperation with Huawei, following up on the implementation of training and qualification programs, and encouraging students to benefit from the educational and competitive opportunities provided by the academy, which has contributed to increasing the number of beneficiaries and raising participation and excellence rates among students.

This recognition further confirms the leading position of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University in the field of technological education and digital capacity building, as well as its active role in supporting innovation and academic excellence and strengthening cooperation with major global companies, which positively impacts its students and graduates and enhances their competitiveness in the global job market.
