The conference also noted that many medical conditions may require the simultaneous intervention of more than one medical specialty to ensure rapid and accurate diagnosis and the development of the best possible treatment plan for patients.
In this context, the conference witnessed a number of joint scientific sessions that embodied the concept of integration between disciplines, including a specialized session on the diagnosis and treatment of immune vascular inflammation, with the participation of professors of radiology, rheumatology and vascular surgery.
One of the scientific sessions also addressed autoimmune inflammations affecting muscles and skin, with the participation of a select group of professors of hematology, neurology, rheumatology, and dermatology, reflecting the importance of teamwork and coordination between different disciplines in dealing with complex autoimmune diseases.
The conference also included a specialized scientific session on chest diseases and pulmonary fibrosis associated with autoimmune diseases, with the participation of leading professors of pulmonology and rheumatology, as well as professors of cardiology. The session discussed the latest diagnostic and treatment methods and emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in managing the complications associated with autoimmune diseases and improving the quality of care provided to patients.
