The President of Ain Shams University directs to support the university community through an initiative to provide locally sourced meat at reduced prices

In line with the directives of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, to support the university community and help ease living burdens on faculty members, employees, and students, the Agricultural Experiments and Research Center in Shalqan, affiliated with the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, announced the provision of premium high-quality beef at special prices for university affiliates.

This initiative comes as part of the university’s developmental and community role, and its commitment to providing integrated services that contribute to social stability and strengthen the food security system through offering safe, high-quality food products in accordance with approved health and veterinary standards.

Prof Walaa Abdel Ghany, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, affirmed that this initiative—launched under the directives of the University President—reflects the university’s approach toward maximizing the benefit of the productive and research capabilities of the Faculty of Agriculture and transforming them into direct services that support university affiliates, in line with the Egyptian state’s efforts to promote sustainable development and achieve food self-sufficiency.

The university administration also praised the distinguished efforts of the farm staff and the meat preparation team in recognition of their dedication and hard work in providing a high-quality product worthy of the university community.

Ain Shams University reaffirmed its commitment to continuing community initiatives aimed at supporting the university community and easing burdens on its members, stemming from its national mission and role in serving society and building human development.
