Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, said that the rally is not only an electric car race but a manufacturing of those cars and how to link the educational process with industry to achieve Egypt's vision of 2030 and the development of the Egyptian economy through local manufacturing and create a generation of engineers capable of innovation and creativity.

He also reviewed the beginning of the idea when the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, a team of racing under the supervision of professors specialized in automotive engineering and then participated in many competitions to win the first prize in manufacturing at the level of universities in the world were honored by Mr. Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Republic last year. He pointed out that some foreign universities have cooperated with us in the manufacture of an electric car and has already been cooperation with the University of Sussex, noting that the year 2020 will see the first international Formula in Egypt.
