A historic health achievement: Egypt records its first official decrease in cancer incidence and mortality rates, according to estimates from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)

The IARC/WHO's GLOBOCAN platform announced a decrease in incidence and mortality rates for several of the most common cancers in Egypt, including liver, bladder, and breast cancers. This marks the first such decrease since international statistical monitoring began.
