The closing of the activities of the Seventh Conference for Scientific Research and Research Projects “The Road to the Nobel Prize” at the Faculty of Medicine

Under the slogan “The Road to the Nobel Prize,” the activities of the Seventh Conference for Student Research and Research Projects, organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, were concluded, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals.

This conference is considered a shining milestone in the process of scientific research in Egypt and the nucleus of a fruitful beginning in the world of scientific research and student publishing.

The conference witnessed the discussion of 31 scientific papers submitted by various Egyptian universities and faculties during 8 scientific sessions, and two papers submitted by the University of Jordan were presented via Microsoft Teams.

Members of the student research arbitration committees, including university professors in various specializations, praised the outstanding level of student research for the future generation.

The conference activities also included a lecture on scientific research presented by Prof. Mervat Radi, Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

Prof. Amani Mokhtar, Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, praised the distinguished level of our fellow researchers and the distinctive diversity of research presented by Egypt’s young scientists.

Both Prof. Mervat Radi, Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and Prof. Maha Al-Jaafari, were honored for their great efforts over the years to make the conference, success. Also, the winners of the first ten places in the Seventh Student Research Conference “The Road to the Nobel Prize”, were honored.

This came in the presence of Prof. Rania Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Iman Bakr, Head of the Public Health Department, and Prof. Amani Mukhtar, Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Chairman of the Conference, and Prof. Maha Al-Jaafari, Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and Secretary General of the Conference.

The closing activities also included distinctive and diverse artistic performances by students coming from the Republic of India, followed by a section of poetry presented by three students from the Syrian Republic, then a cultural presentation about the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
