The Community Service Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University welcomes the new year by distributing gifts to children’s hospital patients

The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Archeology and the Forsan Al-Hadidi Foundation for Development and Care, organized a visit to the new children’s hospital to treat children suffering from blood diseases and tumors from various governorates of Egypt and also from some Arab and African countries, and dialysis, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hospitals, and Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, and the coordination and presence of Prof. Jihan Rajab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce and Advisor to the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the presence of Prof. Yasmine Jamal, Director of the New Children’s Hospital, Dr. Nidaa Al-Hadidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Forsan Al-Hadidi Foundation for Development and Care, Dr. Menna Tariq from the Faculty of Archeology, and a group of employees from the sector and the Faculty of Archeology, under the supervision of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Sector.

         
   
         

The visit aims to raise the morale of the children who are patients visiting the hospital, alleviate their suffering, and provide them with gifts and toys. The hospital was inspected and the advanced medical services provided to pediatric patients were learned. The attendees praised the high-quality medical care and the provision of full support to them up to the stage of Healing.

Gifts and toys were also distributed to the children, and at the end of the visit, the attendees wished the patients a complete recovery, and souvenir photos were taken.
