The final activities of the " Students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun Innovate 3" competition were launched at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Nasser Abdel-Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the implementation and supervision of teacher assistant. Marina Habib, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit iHub in the faculty, and the coordinators of the scientific departments, members of the unit.

The final stage of the " Students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun Innovate 3" competition included 11 participants out of 30 ideas/projects who applied in the first stage to register in the three tracks of the competition (the researchers' track, the start-ups track, and the innovative ideas track).

A selection took place between the 30 applicants in the qualifiers of the first stage of the competition, and 22 applicants were selected, who qualified to participate in the Boot Camp organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University during the two-week vacation in the middle of the academic year 2022-2023.

The first week of the camp (from January 29 to February 4) was attended by actual attendance at the innovation center at the university, while the second week (from February 5 to February 11) was attended online via the Microsoft Teams platform, with the same content of the lectures presented in the first week, but electronically for those who could not. He is present at the center.

After the end of the training camp, 11 applicants passed the second stage of the qualifiers by sending them a recorded video explaining the ideas/projects they submitted to the competition, provided that the video shows what they were trained on during the training camp designed by Business Model, explaining the competitive value provided by their ideas/projects and who is the category that benefits from these ideas/projects etc.

The jury for the finals of the “Students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun Innovate 3” competition was composed of: Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Innovation Center at Ain Shams University, and teaching assistant. Marina Habib, Director of the Innovation Unit at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Prof. Dina Muhammad, coordinator of the Russian language department, and Prof. Huda Mansour, Coordinator of the Arabic Language Department, and Prof. Heba Alaeddin, coordinator of the unit's Spanish language department.

The jury announced the winners:

First, the path of researchers:

First place: Dr. Islam Anwar, a teacher at the Department of Arabic Language, presented the idea of an "electronic board" to help blind people of determination read.

Second place: Dr. Habiba Muhammad, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Arabic Language, on the idea of " Check for me Application", to pay attention to the general context of the sentence in terms of grammatical, morphological and semantic errors, in addition to modifying the general Arabic context to be understandable.

Secondly, the startups track:

First place: Mr. Muhammad Al-Ghaleed is a PhD researcher in the Department of Arabic Language on “The Application of Arabic Sounds”, to help learners of the Arabic language, whether speakers or non-native speakers, to learn the correct pronunciation.

Second place: Huda Samir and Maryam Raymond, students in the second year in the English Department, for their project "M&H Crafts", for drawing and hand embroidery on clothes, bags, and shoes, in an environmentally friendly manner that helps in recycling and at a lower cost than printing.

Third, the innovative ideas track:

First place: Mahmoud Eid, a student in the third year in the Department of Arabic Language, for the idea of a “smart pen” to help people with special needs who are blind to read, know the value of currency, know the colors and objects around them, and also help the illiterate sighted to read.

Second place: Shorouq Pasha, a graduate of the Turkish Language Department, and Areej Ashraf, a second-year student in the English Department, for their project idea "Healthy Mash" to deal with the problem of fodder and bird feeding in Egypt.

Third place: Mr. Abanoub Adel, Teaching Assistant in the Russian Language Department, and Ahmed Khattab, a first-year student in the Russian Language Department, presented the idea of ​​the “MASRICO” application to help Russian tourists know and communicate with the Egyptian dialect during their stay in Egypt, as well as helping Russian learners of the Arabic language to learn the Egyptian dialect.

Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Innovation Center at Ain Shams University, has been praised all the contributions and ideas that were presented in the “Students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Innovate 3” competition.all participants, whether those who won the first places or others, will be qualified to attend the training camp for the university competition "Ain Shams Innovates 2023".

The students of the iClub, which is the student activity of the unit, organized the activities of the competition, and organized the participation of each of the following entities as sponsors of the competition:
