This confirms the Police Day, the importance of alignment, solidarity, and cooperation between the Egyptian people and state institutions in order to confront the forces of evil that seek to destroy the stability of the homeland and divide the Egyptian people.

The Police Day came to commemorate the heroic epic in Ismailia Governorate on January 25, 1952, which claimed the lives of 50 martyrs and 80 injured Egyptian policemen at the hands of the British occupation after they refused to surrender their weapons and evacuate the governorate building to the occupation.

At the end of the ceremony, the university students praised the valor of the Egyptian policemen, stressing that they are the watchful eye on protecting and securing the homeland, who paid their lives as a price to protect the precious soil of Egypt.
