Faculty of Girls celebrates the 49th anniversary of the October victories

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Women's Faculty, Ain Shams University, organized a "Celebration of the Glorious October Victory", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, headed by Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Heba Adel, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, participated in the celebration, Dr. Hani Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture at the General Authority for Culture Palaces, Captain Omar Ali Ezz El-Din Ali, commander of the raids on the port of Eilat, Captain Nabil Mahmoud Abdel-Wahhab Yahya, one of the participants in the raiding operation on the port of Eilat, Prof. Dr. Behind Abdul-Azim Syed Al-Miri, Department of History at the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Aida El-Sayed Ibrahim Salima, Department of History, Faculty.

The celebration was held on the stage of the Women's Faculty. The guests showed clips from the movie "Road to Eilat" and explained the atmosphere of the operations in celebration of the victory.

The ceremony was attended by a number of martyrs’ sons and their wives, as well as many students and professors, and participated in the celebration of the anniversary of the October victory.

At the end of the celebration, Dr. Hani Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, gifted the Faculty students with a number of books on the occasion of the October victory.
