An awareness day for internship students for the first time at the Faculty of Dentistry

The Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, organized an awareness day for doctors of excellence (private - public) in Egyptian universities, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Diaa Zine El Abiden, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ramy Maher Ghaly, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the University’s Great Conference Hall, in the presence of faculty professors, faculty members and lecturers.

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Ramy Ghaly welcomed the internship students from the Faculty and other dental Faculties, stressing that the Faculty of Dentistry is for the first time to hold such an awareness day, which aims to educate internship students and students enrolled in the internship year of how to benefit from the Faculty and its departments, how to become qualified for the labor market, and access to training courses and courses which helps them to work in the field of dentistry later.

He added that today witnesses the holding of several lectures throughout its course, during which the college professors lecture, where they talk about ways to combat infection and how the College of Dentistry, including the faculty, the supporting staff, the staff and the staff of the college, were able to apply them, as well as how a student of the College of Dentistry can work in areas related to the profession. Such as working in insurance companies, dental trade, and others if he wants to, and finally an interesting lecture on photography and the most important tools that the student uses to document his work in a good way and suitable for the labor market.

It is worth mentioning that a documentary film was shown about Ain Shams University, when was it established and when was the Faculty of Dentistry established, its buildings and departments, and the most important laboratories and clinics that distinguish the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University from other universities such as simulation labs, operating room, cleft lip center, maxillofacial tomography , laser treatment, which serves many universities, the center for digital fillings, the stem cell lab, which is unique to the College of Dentistry, as it is one of the few colleges that is interested in the study and importance of stem cells.
