The winning teams of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences qualified to represent the faculty in the global software competition

Four teams representing the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University participated in the twenty-second Arab and African software competition for university students ACPC Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship, which was held on December 5, 2021, in Luxor and organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

The conclusion of the competition and the distribution of prizes to the winners was witnessed by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

Faculty students ranked fifth (Ishak Maurice Habib Shafiq - Fourth Division, Mustafa Al-Badawi - Fourth Division, Islam Mohsen), and (Rahman Ahmed Ahmed Muhammad Othman - Fourth Division, Abdulaziz Mustafa Abdel Aziz - Third Division, Abdul Rahman Sayed Abdel Fattah Ahmed - Fourth Division) for sixth place.

More than 600 programming students participated in the competition, with 150 teams from 22 Arab and African countries. The winning faculty teams qualified to represent the college in the global software competition.
