Combating violence against women at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University

The Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Department of Geography and the Unit for Anti-Violence and Harassment against Women at the university, is organizing a symposium entitled “Combating Violence against Women” under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Prof. Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, Head of the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit at the University.

On Monday, December 13, 2021, at 9 am: 3 pm

The symposium will be held in the faculty conference hall and its activities vary to include a workshop and a caravan in the gymnasium attached to the swimming pool.

The symposium aims to strengthen the societal culture that rejects all forms of violence against women, its causes, manifestations, and means of treatment.
