Announcing the final results of the swimming and fin swimming championships for Egyptian universities

Sponsored by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of the Egyptian Sports Federation of Universities, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, concluded Thursday the activities of the swimming and fin swimming championships for Egyptian universities and higher institutes, at the American University in Cairo, with the participation of 600 male and female students from 30 Egyptian universities.

The tournament was held under the supervision of Dr. Sobhi Hassanein, Vice President of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, and Dr. Hesham El-Gyoshi, Secretary General of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, and C. Bahaa Mokhtar, Head of the Championship and Competition Sector at the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, and Prof. Sameh El-Shazly, President of the Egyptian Diving and Rescue Federation, and Eng. Sherif El-Erian, Director of Sports at the American University in Cairo, and Dr. Hazem Al-Rubi, Dr. Mohamed Ramadan - Mr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, the tournament supervisors from the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation.

The final results of the swimming championship resulted in the following:

100m backstroke/female students:

First place: Student / Haya Salah Mahmoud, French University.

Second place: Student/ Farah Osama Ahmed, Arab Academy for Science and Technology.

Third place: Student/ Habiba Mostafa Hassan, University of Alexandria.

100m butterfly race/ female students:
