Faculty of Al-Alsun inaugurates the Environment Week with exhibitions for books, drawing and clothes

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, launched the activities of the Environment Week, in cooperation with the Education and Students Sector and the Youth Welfare Department, under the patronage of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs. Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, supervised by Prof. Dr. Yomna Safwat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Osama El-Beheiry, Dean of the University's Arid Regions Institute.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, inaugurated the activities of the Environment Week, which includes a charity exhibition for clothes that includes about 300 pieces for students, as well as a free exhibition for books, and another artistic for paintings, as well as a corner for electronic waste for recycling in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering, in the Faculty campus square.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that the community service and environmental development sector is one of the most important sectors that are interested in a wide range of community activities, so that the culture of interaction between the student and society is instilled, with the aim of preparing a new generation capable of becoming effective in societym , it contributes to building a strong country with a cohesive fabric capable of achieving more successes for the Egyptian state in the future.

On her part, Prof. Dr. Youma Safwat, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, emphasized the sector’s keenness to create a link between the student and the community, as it is the main pillar in building a good citizen who is able to deal with society and develop his surrounding environment in the interest of society, the sector is also concerned with the need to emphasize the culture of recycling waste to achieve the maximum development in students' hearts before graduation for working life, in addition to creating a real outlet for their literary and artistic hobbies and their development.
