Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, received Mr. Idris Al-Jazwi, in charge of carrying out the work of the Cultural and Academic Attaché at the Embassy of Libya in Cairo, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Mohamed Shatat, Legal Adviser to the President of the University and Vice President of the State Council, Prof. Dr. Shahera Samir Zaki, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine and Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the University, Prof. Mustafa Refaat, Director of the International Cooperation Department, Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriate Department, Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the Alumni Association Administration, and Prof. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Department

The meeting aims to discuss the conditions of the Libyan students, and to take all measures that support them and contribute to solving their problems, in a way that helps them pass all educational stages successfully.

In his speech during the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, on the depth of the strong fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, expressing his readiness and responsiveness to solve all the problems that obstruct the scientific progress of Libyan students.

Prof. Dr. Idris Al-Gazwi, on the efforts made by the President of the University to solve all the difficulties facing the Libyan students, expressing the originality of the historical ties between the two friendly countries and the pioneering role of Egypt's sisterly towards Libya within the framework of the neighborhood relations and common interests between them.

During the meeting, it was agreed to meet with Libyan students studying at the university to enjoy their demands and overcome all the obstacles that face them. The proposal for the upcoming visit of the Libyan delegation organized by the Libyan Ministry of Education to visit Egyptian universities was also reviewed to see all the difficulties students face during their scientific career and work to solve them.
