Ain Shams University lights up in orange in celebration of the International Day for the Safety of Patients and Medical Staff

Ain Shams University, Saffron Palace, the Faculty of Medicine building and university hospital buildings were decorated in orange color. In celebration of the International Day for the Safety of Patients and Medical Staff, which is organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Ain Shams University Hospitals in cooperation with the World Health Organization - the Regional Office for the Middle East and the organization's representative office in the Arab Republic of Egypt, under the patronage of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and Mrs. Najwa Metwally, member of the International Committee for Patient Safety and Safety.

The celebration included a scientific day, an exhibition of patient safety guidelines in hospitals, awareness of global goals for patient safety and other activities aimed at spreading awareness of patient safety and safety in hospitals and the faculty students.
