The Minister of Higher Education and President of Ain Shams University witness a comprehensive precautionary cleansing campaign of the university

Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the comprehensive preventive cleansing and spraying campaign that Ain Shams University has been conducting for several days as a precautionary measure against the new Corona virus, to ensure that safety is provided to all members of the university community, including faculty, students, administrators, and visitors to the university.

This came in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Director of University Hospitals and General Supervisor of the University's Infection Control Team, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Prof. Dr. Ramy Maher, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Where the Minister of Higher Education and the President of the University inspected the work of clearing the main campus in all its faculties and administration, as well as the campuses of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Dentistry in their entire buildings.

The university had contracted with a specialized company to carry out spraying and disinfection works, as it started its work several days ago to clear buildings and administrative offices, as well as a number of university colleges including terraces, laboratories, halls, offices, corridors and others.

This comes within the framework of the university's pre-emptive and precautionary plan to counter the emerging COVID-2019 pandemic.
