Mohamed Ibrahim El Shafei, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and within the framework of the Faculty of Law’s vision to link the academic aspect with practical reality, the Faculty organized a field visit for its students to the North Cairo Courts Complex, with the coordination and sponsorship of Counselor Fawaz Ibrahim, Head of the Court of Appeal, and Counselor Ali El Hawary, Head of the Technical Office - who is one of the distinguished sons of the Faculty and a shining example of its graduates in the judiciary - and the student delegation was received by a group of distinguished judges, led by Counselor Mohamed El Ansary, Head of the Technical Office at the North Cairo Courts Authority, and Counselor Sameh Othman at the Technical Office of the Cairo Court of Appeal.”

The visit began with an introduction to the court's structure and the jurisdictions of its various departments. This was followed by the students attending a portion of the public sessions in the criminal courts, where they listened to arguments in diverse cases including murder, rape, weapons, drugs, and intimidation. This provided them with practical experience in litigation procedures and advocacy skills.
The visit was organized by Prof. Sayed Mahmoud, Professor of Civil Procedure and President of the Civil Procedure Association, with the participation of Dr. Omar Ramadan, Lecturer of Criminal Law and Director of the Training Court, and Mr. Osama Ramadan, Assistant Lecturer in the Civil Procedure Department. The visit concluded with a group photo.
