Ain Shams University is pleased to announce the convening of its 13th International Scientific Conference,
under the theme: “Ain Shams: 75 Years of Excellence and Leadership... An Eye on the Past and a Sun that Enlightens the Future.”. The event is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Amani Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. The conference will take place on May 14–15, 2025, at Triumph Hotel, Cairo.

This year’s conference coincides with the celebration of the university’s Diamond Jubilee, marking 75 years of scientific contribution and societal leadership. A journey that began in 1950, carrying the noble mission of knowledge and learning — a beacon of thought, a monument of innovation, and a bridge connecting a rich heritage to a promising and vibrant future.

The 13th Ain Shams University International Scientific Conference includes several diverse scientific sessions. The first day's activities include a session on the university's role in supporting major national projects, a session on international publishing awards, another on university hospitals, and a special session on Ain Shams Private University.

The first day also witnesses the launch of the third annual conference of the Scientific Society for Measurement and Evaluation - Association of Arab Universities - in cooperation with the Egyptian Center for the International Institute for Distance Learning, under the title: "Quality Practices in Education: Innovative Paths to Excellence."

The first day concludes with an official opening ceremony and a special session titled "Bedaya," on human capital and capacity building.

The second day's activities include sessions on innovation and digital transformation, issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a review of Ain Shams University's contributions. The conference concludes with an official closing ceremony.

Conference attendance is free for all, A fee is charged only for those who want to obtain a certificate of attendance at the conference according to the following conditions:

 For Ain Shams University Faculty Staff and Teaching Assistants: 

- Attendance certificate for one day = Certificate equivalent to one promotion course (EGP 400)

- Attendance certificate for two days = Certificate equivalent to two promotion courses (EGP 800)

- Certificate of the Scientific Society for Assessment and Evaluation – Association of Arab Universities Conference = Certificate equivalent to one promotion course (EGP 400)

 For Ain Shams University Postgraduate Students: 

- Certificate fee: EGP 400 for Egyptians – $28 for international students (75% attendance requirement for the conference sessions over the two days)

- Attendance certificate counts as one of the requirements for thesis and examination

 For Participants from Outside Ain Shams University: 

- Faculty staff: EGP 4,000 for Egyptians – $80 for international participants (includes lunch and coffee break)

- Students (postgraduate and undergraduate): EGP 2,000 for Egyptians – $40 for international participants

 Note : A minimum required of conference attendance is 75% to obtain the certificate.
