For the second year in a row, the Ain Shams University student handball team tops the list of Egyptian universities, achieving first place and the gold medal in the "Martyr Al-Rifai 52" Championship
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedin, President of Ain Shams University, the university’s men’s handball team has achieved a new milestone to be added to its record of championships, winning all its matches and securing first place and the gold medal in the 52nd Egyptian Universities Tournament “El-Rifai Martyr Tournament.”

The team claimed victory in both the first phase of the tournament, held in Menoufia in February, and the second phase, hosted by the American University in April, earning the title with well-deserved merit and without a single defeat.
The university’s participation was under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and the executive supervision of the Sports Activities Department – General Administration for Youth Welfare.
