Registration Steps & Rules

Steps to Register Preferences

1. Access the official portal: tansik.digital.gov.eg

2. Enter your Seat Number (رقم الجلوس) and Secret Code accurately.

3. Fill out all 75 available preferences, taking into account score and geographic distribution (A/B/C).

4. Click (Save) and print your preferences slip before the stage deadline.

Transfer & Relocation Rules (تقليل الاغتراب)

• Transfers are conducted strictly online and once only (No paper or triple transfers).

• Categorized as Corresponding (same region) or Non-Corresponding (satisfying minimum score requirements).

• Approval is limited to 10% of the target faculty's capacity.

• The new Nomination Card issued after transfer results is the official enrollment document.

Student Guide to Common Registration Mistakes

#1 Application Method
Common Mistake: Going directly to universities/institutes to apply.
Correct Action: Apply exclusively via the official portal (tansik.digital.gov.eg).
#2 Secret Code Security
Common Mistake: Sharing your Secret Code with others to register for you.
Correct Action: Keep your Secret Code private to prevent unauthorized changes.
#3 Admission Priority
Common Mistake: Rushing registration assuming "first-come, first-served".
Correct Action: Admission is strictly based on total High School score, not registration speed.
#4 Editing & Printing
Common Mistake: Believing preferences cannot be modified once saved.
Correct Action: Edit freely during the stage period; only the last saved version counts.
#5 Geographic Distribution
Common Mistake: Changing home address to alter geographic zone allocation.
Correct Action: Distribution is determined strictly by your Educational Administration location.
#6 Fraud Protection
Common Mistake: Applying to unaccredited fake entities or institutes.
Correct Action: Verify accredited institutes through Ministry of Higher Education channels.

Required Documents for Final Enrollment

Original High School Passing Certificate (الاستمارة البيضاء).
(6) Recent Passport-Sized Photographs.
Original Birth Certificate (or official copy).
Form (2) Jund - For Male Students (from Post Office).
Sports Excellence Certificate (for sports incentive holders).
Written Consent from Air Force/Military Secondary School (if applicable).
