Admission Requirements

The Faculty of Archaeology accepts students holding a higher education degree (Bachelor’s degree or Licentiate) from one of the Egyptian universities or its equivalent, provided that the qualification is recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. This also applies to non-Egyptian applicants.

Target Group: Egyptians – Non-Egyptians

Application Period:

Diploma applications start at the beginning of August each year.

Program Duration: 2 years

Credit Hours: 72 credit hours

Program Advantages:

The Archaeological Sciences and Excavations program is a unique program offered exclusively by the Faculty of Archaeology, Ain Shams University, and represents an attractive option for both Egyptian and international students.
