The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in science in Biochemistry (general or special) from Faculties of Science with a “Good” overall grade or a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.33, and an equivalent grade in the major subject. The applicant must be a graduate within the last five years prior to enrollment. This five-year condition and the grade requirement may be waived for applicants who have obtained one of the diplomas offered by the department within the last five years. The applicant must also obtain a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 450 from an accredited academic center, in addition to meeting the general admission requirements.
