Applicants must hold a Basic Bioinformatics Diploma.

Application Periods

Diploma and Pre-Master’s Programs (First Semester): Applications are accepted during August and September each year.

Second Semester: Applications begin in January each year.

Credit Hours

21 credit hours


Program Advantages:

•Designed to further qualify specialists in biological and life sciences, including medical and agricultural sciences, as well as related disciplines such as statistics, for advanced study and application of Bioinformatics.

•Builds upon prior knowledge in bioinformatics by integrating advanced concepts from Computer Science, Information Systems, and Bioinformatics to address complex biological and biomedical challenges.


Graduates Competencies:

•Provide advanced consultancy services to multidisciplinary teams working in Biotechnology, Medical Information Systems, and Environmental Information Systems.

•Conduct and contribute to advanced research projects in various bioinformatics domains.

•Develop, evaluate, and manage bioinformatics research and development projects.

•Prepare and author scientific publications, research papers, and technical reports in bioinformatics and related fields.
