Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from one of the following faculties: Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Science, Agriculture, or equivalent faculties and qualifications recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Application Periods

Diploma and Pre-Master’s Programs (First Semester): Applications are accepted during August and September each year.

Second Semester: Applications begin in January each year.

21 credit hours


Program Advantages:

•Designed to qualify professionals from biological and life science disciplines, including medical and agricultural sciences, as well as related fields such as statistics, to specialize in Bioinformatics.

•Integrates participants’ diverse scientific backgrounds with advanced knowledge in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Bioinformatics, providing an interdisciplinary foundation for modern biological data analysis.


Graduates Competencies

•Provide professional consultation to research and development teams in the fields of Biotechnology, Medical Information Systems, and Environmental Information Systems.

•Conduct and contribute to research projects related to various areas of Bioinformatics.

•Prepare, evaluate, and manage bioinformatics project proposals.

•Develop and write scientific research papers and technical reports in bioinformatics and related disciplines.
