Master of Pediatric Dentistry (Academic / Clinical) for International Students
2026-07-01Admission Requirements
1-Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery from Egypt or an equivalent recognized qualification.
2-Applicants must have completed the internship year (housemanship) or acquired professional practice and training experience in medical centers or governmental hospitals.
3-Applicants must have obtained at least a Good grade in the bachelor's degree. Applicants with a Pass grade may be admitted provided they hold a postgraduate diploma.
4-All required documents must be submitted to the Dean of the Faculty within the period specified by the faculty regulations.
5-Applicants must comply with the rules and regulations of the International Students Administration at the University.
Target Group: International students
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Egyptian universities or equivalent degrees recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities
Program Duration
Academic Track: 3 standard years + up to 2 extension years.
Clinical Track: 2 standard years + up to 2 extension years.
Application Period
Applications are accepted from June to October through the Study in Egypt platform.
Credit Hours:
Academic track: 70 credit hours (comprising 50 coursework credit hours and 20 credit hours allocated to the thesis).
Clinical track: 50 coursework credit hours only.
Program Advantages

It also focuses on child behavior management and the application of preventive dental procedures.

Students are encouraged to participate in research projects and publish in internationally recognized scientific journals, thereby enhancing research productivity and keeping pace with global developments in the specialty.
In addition, the program offers extensive practical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of oral and dental conditions affecting children and adolescents. Graduates are trained to master child behavior management, early childhood caries treatment, pulp therapy for primary teeth and immature permanent teeth, management of dental trauma, and the application of the latest preventive and therapeutic approaches.
Enrollment Outcomes
The program prepares graduates to provide high-quality dental care for children and adolescents, with a strong focus on evidence-based, patient-centered healthcare. Graduates will be able to manage children's behavior effectively, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.
In addition to the above competencies, the Academic Track requires the completion of a research thesis, fostering evidence-based practice and enhancing students’ scientific research, analytical thinking, and critical evaluation skills.
