The Forensic Medical Consultation Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, was established in 1994. It is a specialized entity in providing expertise and scientific consultations in the field of forensic medicine to serve justice and the community. The unit also aims to provide technical and advisory support to judicial authorities, medical practitioners, and individuals through the preparation of accurate forensic medical reports based on recognized scientific and legal standards. The unit contributes to raising awareness of the importance of forensic medicine and enhancing education and training in this field, thereby contributing to the achievement of justice and supporting legal and medical institutions.

* Preparing forensic medical reports in accordance with the latest scientific and legal standards to assist in resolving criminal and civil cases.
* Offering technical support in medical liability cases by evaluating incidents and providing impartial scientific opinions on medical errors and professional practices.
* Organizing training courses and workshops for doctors and specialists to enhance scientific and practical competence in the fields of forensic medicine and clinical toxicology.

Unit Location: The Forensic Medical Consultation Unit is located within the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, MG Building – First Floor, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
