Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a delegation from Students for Egypt Family and Ain Shams University Students’ Union extended their Christmas greetings to Anba Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Family House, and to the Coptic community, on the occasion of Christmas. The delegation expressed their sincere wishes that God may return this blessed occasion to Egypt and its people with goodness, love, and peace. The visit took place at the St. Mark’s Cathedral (Abbassia).

This visit comes within the framework of Ain Shams University and the university’s Education and Student Affairs Sector’s commitment to strengthening and deepening bonds of cooperation and mutual understanding, contributing to the building of a cohesive society grounded in love and peace. It also reflects appreciation for Anba Ermia—General Bishop, Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, and Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Family House, in recognition of his close ties with the university and his continued affirmation of its leading status and national contributions to nation-building.
For his part, Anba Ermia expressed his profound thanks and appreciation to the leadership of Ain Shams University and to the students of Students for Egypt for this gracious visit, commending the university and its students’ pioneering national role in serving the community and in reinforcing the values of fraternity and national cohesion among the Egyptian people.
At the conclusion of the visit,Anba Ermia was presented with the Students for Egypt Shield of Ain Shams University, in recognition of his national and community role and his efforts in promoting the values of citizenship and national unity.
