Stemming from Ain Shams University’s commitment to strengthening bridges of cooperation with various state institutions, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, received Abla Elalfy, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Health and Population for Population Affairs and Family Development.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Sahar Moussa, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Hala Suweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ashraf Nabhan, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University; and Prof. Mona Ashour, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Population.

The meeting addressed avenues of support and cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Population, Ain Shams University, and the Faculty of Medicine, through discussing implementation steps for a comprehensive plan. The plan includes awareness campaigns for university students and affiliates, the production of short films targeting young people to be disseminated across the university’s various platforms, and the provision of medical services supporting reproductive health as part of the development convoys organized by the university in Greater Cairo and other governorates.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to present a defined action plan to activate this fruitful cooperation in a manner that serves the community and benefits Egypt.
