Ain Shams University confirms in an official statement that the physician (D.A.), who was investigated by the Medical Syndicate for providing patients with medical advice that violates professional standards and falsely claiming to be a professor at Ain Shams University, is no longer a member of the Faculty of Medicine’s teaching staff, and his service at the university officially ended in 2023, in accordance with the administrative decisions documented in the university records.

The university categorically denies any affiliation of the individual with the institution and refutes his claims on social media of presenting himself as a “Professor at Ain Shams University” or asserting any academic association with the university. It affirms that these claims are false, constitute a deliberate misrepresentation to the public, and constitute an infringement on the reputation and prestige of this esteemed academic institution.

The university emphasizes that it will take all necessary legal measures against anyone who falsely assumes an academic title or uses the university’s name in a way that harms its reputation or misleads the public, to preserve the university’s standing and safeguard the rights of patients and society to receive reliable information from accredited academic sources.

Ain Shams University also confirms its full cooperation with the Medical Syndicate and the relevant authorities in monitoring complaints filed against the individual, to ensure the safety of medical practice and uphold established scientific and professional standards.
