Ain Shams University has achieved a new global sports milestone, as student Youssef Emad Mahmoud Abdel Hamid Badawy won the World Championship title in Kumite under 84 kg for the third consecutive time.
Youssef Badawy, enrolled in the specialized programs in the Department of Design and Production Engineering at Ain Shams University, secured the title in the final of the 2025 Karate World Cup with an outstanding performance, achieving a decisive 6–0 victory over the Turkish champion.
