Under the patronage of the President of Ain Shams University, the first preliminary coordination meetings of the National Reading Project were launched at the university
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the first preliminary meeting of the National Reading Project coordinators from the faculties was held today, Thursday, 27 December 2025, at the University Students’ Union Hall within the General Administration for Student Welfare. Participants included members of the teaching staff, directors of student welfare departments, cultural activity officers, library officials, and student union representatives from the faculties.
During the meeting, Prof. Abdel Monem Zaki, Ain Shams University Coordinator for the National Reading Project, presented the project implementation mechanisms and provided a comprehensive overview of all project details.
Attendees raised numerous questions, which were answered thoroughly.
Ain Shams University’s participation in the project is organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, under the coordination and general supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector and implemented by the General Administration for Student Welfare, Cultural Activity Department.
